What is Nowruz?
Nowruz is an Iranian/Persian new year that starts with spring in the Northern Hemisphere. Iranians use a solar calendar which is the most precise one. All the Iranians worldwide celebrate their new year on the first day of Farvardin month (19th, 20th or 21st of March) at the exact time which differs each year and the celebration officially continues for 13 days.

What is Faravahar?
The Faravahar is a symbol of great importance in Persian culture and history. It is an ancient Zoroastrian symbol that represents “good thoughts, good words, good deeds”. It is a reminder to live a good and virtuous life. Iranians/Persians often wore the Faravahar as a symbol of pride and identity. They also commonly see it as a symbol of freedom, independence, and self-determination. They believe that Faravaher is a symbol of the connection between the individual and the divine.
